BEER PASS STYLEFRAMES

Chicago Beer Pass is passion project of LooseKeys founder Brad Chmielewski. The beer review podcast was needing a show open, and Brad asked me to develop some direction. My role was developing a style to kick-start the project once photography, footage, and script were in place. I really love how these turned out, and enjoyed developing these looks!

EXPLORATION

The initial brief was asking for paper cutout / collage aesthetic. There were also a few key scenes that we knew would be in the final piece. I approached the project with an ‘airy’ aesthetic; imagining a beer on a hot summer day. Brad was wanting a grungier feel for the Beer Pass brand, so from that point I worked on really distressing the looks and compositions. I also wanted to incorporate color/texture from the wide spectrum of beers.
